[gem5-users] Regarding contention simulation in gem5

Dear All
I am new for gem5. I am working in the area of multicore architecture. I
want to simulate my experiment related to the contention for shared cache,
main memory bandwidth, interconnect. My questions are:-
1. Is it possible in gem5
2. Can I make the enviorment for my own parameters like CACHE MISS RATE PER
1000 INSTRUCTIONS (CMRPI).
3. With gem5 can I do all the simulations related with multicore
architecture.
4. Should I need to purchase Benchmarks like SPEC2006 or there is any
other way to get it free.
