[gem5-users] Question about GEM5 DVFS and cpu_voltage_domain

Hello everyone,

Currently I want to do experiments using GEM5 and McPAT. I plan to assign
different clock frequency in GEM5 simulation to get stats, and fed into
McPAT with the corresponding supply voltage to get the power number.

My question is: Besides changing the clock frequency, should I also assign
different cpu voltages in GEM5 simulation? In other words, will the GEM5
simulation be "transparent" to supply voltage and only depend on clock
rate? I ask this because from the default GEM5 config.json, I can find a
parameter "voltage = 1.0" in "cpu_voltage_domain".
